Autumn in 2nd Class
2nd class have been working on the topic of Autumn during the month of October. During our SESE classes we have learned about different types of trees in Ireland, all the animals that will be hibernating and all the changes that Autumn brings. We went on an Autumn walk and found lots of different trees. We found an oak, a beech, hawthorn, sycamore, and we had lots of fun finding conkers underneath the horse chestnut tree. We collected up lots of leaves and brought them back to the class to make some Autumn hedgehogs. We also painted some Autumn trees.
