The County Monaghan Cumann na mBunscol Handball Competition was held in St. Mellan’s handball complex in Truagh on Wednesday 23rd January. Ernesta & Niamh represented our school in the U13 doubles and won the county final securing a place in the Ulster Finals in February. Natalie won her semi-final to finish runner up in the U13 singles final while Alesha was runner-up in the U11 singles final. Well done to all the girls who did the school proud! Special thanks to Mrs Hannon for preparing the girls for this event and travelling with them on the day and to Martin Mc Entee, Monaghan Harps, for all his coaching and support.
