The Parents’ Association organised this exciting fundraiser for Friday 8th April and it proved a great way to kick start the Easter holidays! Each year group from 2nd to 6th took turns to dance to a playlist of the latest hits in the front yard or PE hall. The ice-cream van arrived at lunchtime; and even an almighty hailstone shower didn’t dampen the spirits, as the girls queued eagerly for cones and slushy treats, courtesy of the PA.
Heartfelt thanks to all of you for your tremendous generosity in sponsoring the girls and helping us raise the marvellous total of € 2,180. This money will be spent on developing an outdoor classroom and wall mural in the school yard. A special word of thanks to Mrs Cunningham for providing her music system for the day and for being on hand to play the songs for the girls.
