Congratulations to our two 2nd classes who made their First Confession on Tuesday 11th May at 1.20 pm. Due to Covid restrictions, the girls received the sacrament in the school hall which was beautifully decorated with their own artwork for the occasion.
To begin, each class bubble held a special prayer service in their own classrooms. Then the girls were taken in twos to the hall where our school chaplain, Canon Paddy McGinn, assisted by Fr. Leo Creelman, heard the confessions.
We are very grateful to the two class teachers, Mrs Cunningham and Ms. Treanor who prepared the girls so well for their First Penance.
