World Book Day this year was held on Thursday 5th March . All classes took part in a special World Book Day Art Competition. The girls were tasked with designing their own individual bookmarks and there was a winner picked in each class. The standard was so high in 6th class that two winners per class were chosen. All our classes also had an hour of silent reading in the afternoon of Friday 6th and each pupil received a World Book Day token.
We are grateful to Mrs McKenna for organising all the World Book Day Activities in our school.
