A selection of 5th and 6th class girls took part in the Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 League on Wednesday the 15th May. They played two matches against Castleblaney GNS and Gaelscoil Ultain where they beat Castleblaney and were narrowly beaten by the Gaelscoil. Ms Mc Nally accompanied then on the day.
On May 22nd they travelled to Carrickmacross with Ms Reilly where they took part in Day Two of the Division 1 League. The girls played Urbleshanny NS & Carrickmacross G.N.S. Our team played tremendously in both games and were unfortunate to avoid victory. Very well done to all the girls involved. Thanks also to Ms McNally and Ms Reilly for coaching the girls.
