Due to a cut in our SNA allocation, we sadly have to bid farewell to Mrs Laura Dunlop who has been an invaluable member of our staff for the past 13 years. Mrs Dunlop always put the needs of the children first and treated those in her care with great respect and attention.

At out final assembly of the school year, held on Wednesday 20th June, we paid tribute to Mrs Dunlop for her many years of loyal service in our school. We were delighted to welcome Mrs Dunlop’s sister, Mrs Gilliland and also Mrs Rooney, who joined us for the occasion.

4th class recited a poem which had been especially written in honour of Mrs Dunlop, while 6th class performed some songs from their graduation ceremony. Lydia and Alisija presented Mrs Dunlop with flowers and a gift from all our pupils.  She was also presented with cards made by some of the pupils themselves.

After school, refreshments were served for the adults in the staff room and Mrs Farrell presented Mrs Dunlop with a gift from all the staff. We wish Mrs Dunlop the very best of luck and hope her career as SNA continues to flourish.
