World Book Day was held on Thursday 1st March, but unfortunately the school was closed due to Storm Emma. However, many of our classes had already visited the library earlier in the week and some also got to use their World Book Day tokens in Eason’s. Mrs McKenna organised an art competition for all the classes. The girls were tasked with illustrating a cover for their favourite book and there was a winner picked in each class. Thanks to Mrs Healy and the students on the Action Team Partnership Committee for helping Mrs McKenna to judge the entries.
