Well done girls!
Well done to our fantastic 6th class debating team who are through to the final of the Concern Primary Schools Debating Competition! The girls defeated Deravoy N.S on Thursday 8th March in Monaghan Education Centre where they proposed the motion, “Advertising on Children’s TV should be out-lawed.” Speakers on this outing were Neeharika Vivekanandan (Captain), Georgina McKenna and Rhiain Ronaghan. Tammy McElwain, Hannah Pourani and Aoife O’Gara helped with the research. The girls will face Corcreagh N.S. in the final to be held in the last term. Thanks again to Miss Deery who coaches the girls so well for all these debates.
