Ms Murray’s 4th class worked together in their pods on an Arts & Crafts project to design and create clothing items made from old newspapers. The girls were very creative and enjoyed presenting their designs at a mini-fashion show.
Our Annual Halloween Charity Fundraiser took place today, Friday 23rd October. We had a special Dress-Up Day where the girls were asked to bring in €2 each for the very worthy cause of Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland. Congratulations to Summer, 2nd Class who progressed to the second round of the Annual Credit Union Art Competition known as the Chapter Round. Summer, who finished first in her category, attended an award ceremony in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross on Thursday 12th December. She received a money prize, certificate and a selection box.
