Pictured above are the two youngest members of our Student Council, Siomha and Alisija, making a presentation of a cheque for €450 to Collette Mc Entee, Fundraising Executive with the National Council for the Blind, Ireland. Also in the picture are representatives from each of the other classes in the school. All our pupils dressed up on the day of the Halloween holidays and brought in money to make a contribution to this very deserving charity. It was a fun-filled day for all with witches, princesses and dead brides galore, to mention but a few of the marvellous costumes on display. The girls took part in Halloween-themed activities in their classrooms during the morning and gathered in the hall in the afternoon to present Collette. Thanks to Fausta and Toma, 6th class, who designed posters to advertise the day.
