General information about St. Louis Girls' National School

About Us

We are a Catholic school under the Patronage of Monsignor Joseph McGuinness, Acting Bishop of Clogher.


At present we have approximately 240 students and a staff of 22 which includes an Administrative Principal, classroom teachers, Special Education teachers, SNAs, secretary and caretaker.


About UsOur Special Needs Assistants help children with special needs to integrate into the mainstream classes.

School Uniform

Our uniform consists of a navy skirt or pinafore, a light blue shirt, royal blue and yellow tie and a royal blue jumper or cardigan. We request that children wear flat black/navy shoes with their uniform and plain black or navy socks or tights.


Our school track-suit is specially customised for the school.
All of the above are available in "The Fabric Centre", Park Street, Monaghan.
