Mrs Hannon’s Groups May 25th -29th

Group 1: 9.00-9.45 (Girls from Mrs Cunningham’s Class & Ms Mc Nally’s girl)

 

  • Spelling: Do next week of spelling in Fallons Spelling Book (Learn 10 on Tues, 10 on Wed and revise on Thurs –Then do a test of 20 spelling into back of homework copy.)

If you don’t have your Fallons Spelling book do the next week in Spellbound 2.

  • Reading: In your pack you collected from school you will find Reading Sheets taken from the Read at Home Book. Read one page per day (Stories such as The Rainbow/Johnny Appleseed/Mixed Fruit.) and answer the questions at the end of each story (orally).

 

  • Writing: In your pack you will also find another set of sheets.

              On first sheet find page 33 and do exercises in your copy as follows :

              Mon: Ex A (Full stops and capitals)

              Tues: Ex B (Write questions to match the answers)

              Wed: Ex C (Write 5 questions to ask friends)

              On next sheet find page 28 and do exercises as follows:

              Thurs: Ex A (1-4)

               Fri : Ex A (5-8)

 

Group 2: 9.45-10.30 (Girls from Ms Brady’s Class)

  • Spelling: Do next Week in Spellbound (Learn 8 spellings on Tues 8 on Wed and revise on Thurs – Then do test at the back of the book.

 

  • Reading: In your pack that you collected from school you will find Reading Sheets. Read one page per day (Stories such as Bubbles/What the Bubble Said/Lucky Numbers) and ask yourself the questions at the end of each story (no need to write answers)

 

  • Writing: Mon &Tues: Do exercises in the Spellbound book for the week you are doing

You will find another set of sheets in your pack

 (Unit 4: Kicking Leaves written on top of first page).

 Do exercises as follows:

Wed: p19 Ex B (1. Daddy was….)

Thurs: p21 Ex D (1. Apples….)

Fri: p21 Ex E (1.Robins….)

 

Group 3: (11.00-12.00) 3rd Class Maths Work is with Ms Mc Nally’s Class Work.
