On Tuesday 19th February, the Green Schools’ Committee members organised a very successful Water Action Day for the  whole school.  They visited every classroom where they showed a water video and demonstrated water experiments for all the pupils. Each class was then given the opportunity to walk around the school, carrying 2 litre bottles of water, in order to empathise with children in developing countries who carry water like this on a daily basis. The classes also participated in a specially-designed Water Quiz  based on the Water Cycle Display and Green Schools Noticeboard in the front hall. Great credit is due to the committee members and to Miss Brady and Mrs Treanor for all their hard work and preparation for this event.
