On Tuesday 16th October, to mark the Tradoodle Festival in Monaghan, the whole school was treated to a concert by the traditional Irish music group, “Rolling Waves.” As well as performing a variety of Irish tunes for us, the trio encouraged the children to join in with body percussion and singing. They explained about the different musical instruments and taught the beats of the jig and reel. It was a wonderful afternoon of learning and entertainment for all. We would like to thank our Parents’ Association for funding this memorable treat for all our pupils.
