On the 9th October to celebrate the Children’s Literary Festival, three classes were lucky to attend a bilingual storytelling session by the wonderful Neil de Burca. The girls from Mrs. Cassidy’s 6th, Ms. McNally’s 3rd and Mrs. Cunningham’s 4th class were treated to engaging, hilarious stories in both Irish and English. This term the girls are focusing on storytelling for Oral language so it was great for them to pick up some tips on how to tell a great story. Many thanks to Suzanne and all in Monaghan County Library for organising such a fabulous event for our girls.
