Our GAA squad travelled to the Gaelscoil Ultain on Thursday 10th May to take part in the first round of the league. They played against Castleblaney Girls National School and Gaelscoil Ultain. The girls put up a great performance and were narrowly beaten in the second game.
Following on from this blitz, the girls went to Ballinode on Thursday 17th May for another GAA Blitz. The girls played two matches against very strong opposition. Unfortunately, they were defeated in both games but they made a superb effort and should be very proud of their performance. Many thanks to Ms. McNally and Ms. Reilly for coaching the squad and accompanying them to the matches. Squad members: Niamh, Daisy, Aoife, Ella, Alannah, Mia, Aoife, Aoife, Leah, Lauren, Emma, Kaitlyn, Rhianna, Ella, Leah and Tammy. Well done girls!
