Our Parents’ Association held its Annual Cake Sale on Friday last, 23rd February. Once again, it turned out to be a fantastic success ,thanks to the committee members who put in many hours of planning and preparation in advance of the event. We extend a huge “Thank You “to all the parents who sent in sale items such as gifts, toys, books etc. and of course the delicious cakes and buns! Thanks also to those who bought and sold raffle tickets, to those who attended the sale and to those who helped the committee set up on Thursday evening or who worked at the sale itself. (See list below) We are very grateful as well to Mr. Adrian Fitzgerald, Transition Year Coordinator in St. Louis Secondary School, who organised for us to have the invaluable assistance of 11 TY girls. Thanks too to our own sixth class girls and their teachers for running games in their classrooms. The biggest hit of the day was the Pizza Stall, the brainchild of Ranhi Shagufta and her daughter, Arveyda, who worked tirelessly throughout the day to provide mouth-watering pizza for us all. The Sale raised the grand total of €2 500 which will be spent on a variety of school resources and projects. Congratulations to everyone involved!
